One of our most picteresque tour of the Lower Silesia region. Discover the diversity of the Kaczawa Foothills!

First, we will visit Bolesławiec – one of the top places in Poland where pottery is being produced. The Boleslawiec pottery has a long tradition dating back a few centuries in the past.

In Boleslawiec we will visit one of the pottery factories where we will witness the production process. We will also see how the cups, jars and plates are hand painted with beautiful patterns. The Boleslawiec pottery factories export a lot of their production to the US and Japan.

The next point on the route will be the medieval Grodziec Castle. It is a majestically settled  well preserved ruin on a post – volcanic hill. The Grodziec Castle was already opened for tourism in the XIX century. The castle offers amazing views of various mountain ranges.

Then we will drive through the most  picturesque part of the Kaczawskie Mountains, making sure that we are actually be traveling throught the area famous for its extinct volcanoes and extraordinary geological richness.  The area has recently been named a GEOPARK and enlisted by UNESCO on the most prestigious list of natural geoparks in the World.

The icing on the cake of the trip will be a night tour of Lenno Castle magestically situated on a hill over the Bobr river.
